Consignment Information

How it works

You do not need an appointment, but you DO need to come during our drop off hours which are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday between the hours of 10am-4pm. No exceptions.

When you bring your items for consignment, we go through your items while you wait and hand back anything we decide not to sell in our shop.

Our policies:

  • Consignment rate is 50/50.

  • Payments are made once a month.  We do not mail payments out; they must be picked up at the store. Monies are held for six months.

  • You must consign at least 5 quality items to establish a new account.

  • Consignment term is 40 days- after this time, you may pick up unsold items or they get donated at owners discretion.

  • Pricing is established solely at the discretion of Main Street Thrift staff. Age, condition of item and our past experience with the item you’re selling are all factors for pricing.

  • We accept only quality merchandise and are very selective. Please prepare your items before bringing them in- clothing items should be freshly laundered. Non-clothing items should be clean and dust free.
